President and CEO
Teresa has a winning track record spanning over 25 years of leading and growing both companies and individuals. She spent 11 years in the private K-12 market before moving to Colorado to pioneer a sales process within the Sylvan Learning Center system that dramatically improved conversion rates and became the heart of the call center model within education.
As co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Education Sales Management (ESM), she was instrumental in growing the company from 2 employees to over 800 employees achieving "Top 10 Best Company to Work For" recognition in 2 states for 3 consecutive years while increasing to 5 branch locations across 3 states. Before retiring in 2009, Teresa was a driving force behind the company's highly recognized and celebrated culture while demonstrating double-digit revenue growth year-over-year. Teresa was the recipient of ESM's first Leadership Excellence Award and was the only lifetime recipient of the coveted President's Spirit Award. Recently, Teresa was recognized as "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2014. She earned her BS in Education from Missouri State University, and she is a graduate of the Stagen Integral Leadership Program. Teresa lives in Parker, Colorado and enjoys fine wine, The Denver Broncos, her two boys, entertaining, shopping...and shoes.
Tom has been involved in the call center industry for over 15 years, primarily focused on sales and operations. Tom built a high performing team at Education Sales Management (ESM), helping many agents develop into leaders and achieve promotions. After nearly 5 years of leading a K-12 team, Tom turned his focus to higher education. He was responsible for the design, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the full admissions department at ESM which grew from one university and a team of four to an admissions department serving six schools with over fifty agents. Tom consistently helped drive each of his teams' performance to exceed customer expectations, earning one team the "Team of the Year" award for nearly doubling the customer's expectations for sales that year.
Tom has always been drawn to education beginning with his choice of majoring in Liberal Studies at Humboldt State University with the intention of teaching special needs students. Tom is married to his wife, Viera, has two daughters, and lives in Littleton, Colorado. He enjoys all sports and spending time with his entire family, all of whom live in beautiful Colorado.
Joy has been in the call center business for 10 years. She has experience working on the phones as an phone agent, as a sales coach and as a sales manager. She has been successful in launching and developing both large and small teams, as well as working with various new technologies and CRM's. She is very comfortable in managing change and process improvements within and across organizations. Joy is an expert in mentoring and leading teams in achieving goals and objectives. She works closely with Account Management to ensure the successful daily operations while achieving the best customer experience possible. She has a true passion for coaching and developing her staff to consistently exceed company and client overall expectations. Joy holds a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She is a MSU Spartan fan as well as a life long Bronco’s fan. She lives in Denver with her husband Justin and co parents a beautiful 7 yr. old step daughter Kara. She has a 2 1/2 yr. old boxer daughter as well.
